Tradesmen Tech API
This is the API the Tradesmen Tech app runs on. Every screen in the mobile and web app, from scheduling a job to sending an invoice, talks to the endpoints documented here, and the same endpoints are open to you.
The reference below is published directly from the service documentation our engineers maintain alongside the backend, so it describes exactly the API the current app release uses. Each service has its own page with every endpoint, request and response body, and error code.
Base URLs
| Environment | Base URL |
|---|---|
| Production | https://api.tradesmentechnologies.com/prod |
Each service lives under its own path, for example /prod/jobs or /prod/customers. All requests use HTTPS, and request and response bodies are JSON. Date-times are ISO 8601 strings and money amounts are integer cents unless a page says otherwise.
Authentication
Sign in with your Tradesmen Tech email and password at POST /accounts/login. The response carries a bearer token; send it on every other request as Authorization: Bearer <token>. What a token may do follows the employee's role in the app (ADMIN, LEAD_TECHNICIAN, TECHNICIAN, CREW_TECHNICIAN); each endpoint lists the roles it accepts.
Only one session is active per employee, so logging in through the API signs that employee out of the app. For an integration that runs unattended, create a dedicated employee account for it.
No-code integrations
If you only need to create clients and jobs from Zapier, a website form, or another service that can send a webhook, you don't need a login at all. The Integration API uses a webhook code from the app instead and is documented separately.
